April is Women’s Eye Health Month. Since we are a female owned business, we care a lot about women’s eye health here at Novel Eye Care. When it comes to eye health, the number one eye disease that women are more at risk for is dry eye. Dry eye is more common in women because of hormonal changes such as going on birth control, menopause, and pregnancy. Environmental and autoimmune diseases can also play a big part in women’s dry eye. Women are also more at risk for macular degeneration, glaucoma, and cataracts as they age. Getting routine screenings for eye health can play an important role in early intervention of eye diseases.

Season's Greetings and Best Wishes for the New Year from Novel Eye Care! December was a month filled with joy and numerous patient visits. It has been a pleasure welcoming everyone into our new facility. We hosted a sale featuring Prada frames and sunglasses. Additionally, the Beautiful Bookworms book club gathered at our office for their annual book swap. Our inaugural Christmas Open House was also a resounding success.

Novel Eye Care is celebrating our two-month anniversary! We’ve had some exciting things happening in the last two months. We are so grateful for all of our guests who attended our grand opening " Stock the Shelf" party and especially ones that brought the books! This office was named   “Novel ” after Dr. Koch’s love for reading, and of course, you must see clearly in order to read.
